<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor temperature estimation device capable of estimating, accurately without using a temperature sensor, the motor temperature when powered up for closing the power source of a motor control device. <P>SOLUTION: In the motor control device for controlling the load generated in the motor, the motor temperature at the point when powered up is estimate by using a discharge circuit 2 simulating a thermal model of the motor, and a charge circuit 3 for applying a voltage to the discharge circuit 2 while the power source of the motor control device is closed, and by estimating the motor temperature just before breaking the power source of the motor control device and, estimating the change of the motor temperature while the power source of the motor control device is broken, by the change of a capacitor voltage of the discharge circuit 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
