PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a high flexibility in design of a device, while reducing a size of a whole device. SOLUTION: A linearly moving device comprises: a ball screw device 10 having a nut 12 externally fitted on a screw shaft 11 and movable along an axial direction of the screw shaft 11; and a linear guide device 20 having a slider 21 supporting the nut 12 and a guide rail 23 having a section in a shape of a recess and guiding the slider 21 with a state where the nut 12 and the slider 21 are housed in the recess portion 22.
