PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an analogue of parathyroid hormone. SOLUTION: This analogue of the parathyroid hormone is a peptide variant of a fragment (1-34) of the parathyroid hormone wherein at least one of amino acid residues at the positions 7, 11, 23, 24, 27, 28 and 31 is cyclohexylalanine; at least one of amino acid residues at the positions 3, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 34 isα-aminoisobutyric acid; or at least the amino acid residue at the position 1 isα,β-diaminopropionic acid, the amino acid residue at the position 27 is homoarginine or the amino acid residue at the position 31 is norleucine.
