PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting resistant yarn for production of protective clothing imparting a good safety to a user and having a good flexibility for amenity of the user. SOLUTION: The cutting resistant yarn obtained by coextrusion of multi- filaments of E-, R-, C-, or S-glass or more generally filaments of knitted glass or basalt filaments and a sheath part comprising a fluorinated or not fluorinated thermoplastic polymer, thermosetting polymer, natural elastomer or synthetic elastomer, the glass fiber part comprises at most at most 60 wt.% of the filament and the composition for the sheath part, the core part (A) comprises a combination of yarn (B) of a staple fiber of a synthetic fiber or twisting.
