PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood fan provided with a lock mechanism capable of locking and unlocking a rectification plate with ease. SOLUTION: Movable projections having an expanded head section at the tip of a shaft section, which is energized by a compression shell machine, are arranged at a plurality of sections in either a straightening plate or a hood, and a body, which is to be locked to the shaft section in a cross direction, is arranged in the other. The body to be locked to the shaft section is formed with an inclination section, which presses the expanded head section of each of the projections resisting to the compression shell machine b, facing outside at its tip section and also has a space section larger than the expanded head section and a shaft receiving section, which is communicated with the space section. The expanded head section is formed so as to be tapered toward its head and locks the shaft section to the receiving section with the body inserted into the expanded head section so as to press the expanded head section of each of the movable projections by the tip section. The straightening plate 1 is removed from the hood by moving the straightening plate 1 due to the guide work of the tapered expanded head section itself with the expanded head section positioned at the large space section and pressed by a finger so that the compression shell machine b is shrunk.
