PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate design of a building which can be smoothly used particularly by an elderly person, a physically handicapped person and the like by proposing an entrance structure in which the effective width of the entrance can be increased, in the entrance wherein a wall intersects an inlet part of a shutter box from a handle mount face side of a sliding door. SOLUTION: The entrance structure 1 is used for the entrance wherein the wall 4 intersects the inlet part 3a of the shutter box 3 from the handle (door handle 2a) mount face side of the sliding door 2, and a cut 4a is formed in the wall 4 so that the door handle 2a is exposed outside when the door 2 is housed in the box 3.
