PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame which has no restrictions on adjustment of a gap between the frame and a sill and excellent in handling properties in transportation. SOLUTION: A stepped hole as shown in Fig. is made in a frame 2 in which an adjusting fitting 1 is assembled, and a large-diameter side is formed as a mounting hole 2a in a sill 3 side. The hole 2a is formed in a depth not smaller than the thickness of a mounting part 4c of a frame block 4 to be mounted in the hole 2a plus the thickness of the plate 7. A bush 4 of the fitting 1 is press-fitted and fixed in the stepped hole 2a with the plate 7 being in contact with the bush 4, and then the block 4 and the plate 7 are set in a state of being embedded in the hole 2a. The gap A can be adjusted by turning an adjusting screw 6 in a direction of narrowing the gap A, e.g. to zero. No damages are caused even if the two frames 2 with the adjusting screws 1 assembled therein are stacked. Excellent handling properties in transportation are achieved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
