MAGNESIUM ALLOY CAST AND ITS CASTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesium alloy cast and its casting method with which a plastic formability can be improved when a primary working such as extrusion and rolling is performed to sheets or when a secondary working such as forging is performed to a processed sheet. SOLUTION: The magnesium alloy material is melted under state of shutting off from oxygen and the magnesium alloy cast 1, in which a precipitation range 3 dispersed in the magnesium alloy crystal grain exists with little casting defect, is obtained by cooling and solidifying the molten-state magnesium alloy at 1-20 K/sec cooling speed in the casting time.
