PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic excellent in moisture retention, stability and the like. SOLUTION: The cosmetic contains glucan having an internally branched cyclic structure and an externally branched structure and 50-5000 degree of polymerization. The internally branched cyclic structure means a cyclic structure formed withα-1,4-glucoside bonds andα-1,6-glucoside bonds.
