PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistage gear shift device having a simple constitution having a guide part of an operation lever capable of improving space efficiency and operability while securing accuracy and rigidity sufficient for surely guiding the operation lever. SOLUTION: This multistage shift change lever device is constituted by installing a guide member 5 forming a guide pattern on an installing panel 3. The guide member 5 forms a fitting projection part 5a by an elastic material elastically fitted to an installing hole 3a of the installing panel 3, and a flange 5b supporting the peripheral edge of this fitting projection part 5a, and is provided with a cover plate 7 to fix by pressing the flange 5b of this guide member 5 to the installing panel 3.
