The dough forming machine, especially for small filled pastries, has a working surface for the laid dough and a number of cutting wheels to cut into the dough material on the working surface. A drive gives a relative movement between the cutting wheels and the working surface in one working direction, and the cutting wheels are fitted with flanking and concentric non-stick press rollers to press into the dough surface at the cutting points. A lower layer of dough supports the spread filling to be covered by an upper layer of dough. The layered dough is cut in rows together with compressed edges.
