<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new collagenase inhibitor. <P>SOLUTION: This new collagenase inhibitor contains a pine bark extract. Especially, the collagenase inhibitor contains ≥20 wt.% OPC (oligomeric prothocyanidine) and ≥5 wt.% catechin is preferable. The skin external agent with the collagenase inhibitor can be provided as the skin external agent inhibiting collagenase, and also by adding the collagenase inhibitor to a food, the health food for inhibiting collagenase is provided.
