PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus door opening/closing control device for a one-man- operated bus and an opening/closing controlling method using such a device whereby it is possible to facilitate the laying of harnesses by arranging electronic control units in a reasonable fashion and perform the opening and closing control of the bus doors more safely for the passenger.

SOLUTION: The first and second electronic control units 1 and 2 to control the opening and closing of a front door 100 and a middle door 101 are installed near the front doors 100 and 101 and tied together by a communication wire 23 so that a local area network is configured.
