PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a 'protective covering' considerably thin thereby shortening the period of work when constructing concrete supports and reducing the construction cost. SOLUTION: A rigid strut 2 elongated to a straight shape in an up-down direction is arranged in the body of a concrete support, a plurality of long fibers bundled and arranged in the vicinity of the rigid strut are used as a main reinforcement 3, a plurality of lateral reinforcing members 4 resisting against the shearing force in the vicinity of the main reinforcement 3 are arranged in up-down direction at certain intervals, and the lateral members 4 are formed by hardening the bundle of long fibers extended to closed circuit shapes with an adhesive.
