PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for packaging a coil which has high strength in spite of the thickness thereof and in which material cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: An inner diameter ring 11 is a metal jig for packaging the coil which is usably mounted on the corner parts 18 of the inner periphery of a product 17 of a steel belt coil for use. The inner diameter ring 11 has an approximately loop shape and has an inner peripheral part 13 extending in the direction of an axial line 12 and a flange 14 extending in the outward radial direction. The inner peripheral part 13 and the flange 14 form a L shape through a folded part 15. A protruded part 16 is formed on the flange 14 such that it protrudes in the opposite direction of the inner peripheral part 13 extending along the direction of the axial line 12 and also extends continuously in the peripheral direction of the flange 14. Since the protruded part 16 is formed, the strength of the flange 14 increases, thus the thickness of a material is reduced, and material cost can be reduced in the inner diameter ring 11.
