PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate continuously without generating a defective product even if the single article mass is fluctuated at the lot switching time of an object to be weighed. SOLUTION: A mass distribution calculation means 41 receives the mass from a mass calculation means 26 and the number of articles from a conversion means 27 of the number of articles during weighing operation, and determines a mass distribution of the object to be weighed supplied at present, namely, the mean value A' of the single article mass and a standard deviationσ'. A conversion information renewal means 43 calculates new conversion information from the mean value A' and the standard deviationσ' calculated by the mass distribution calculation means 41, and renews the conversion information set in the conversion means 24 of the number of articles by the calculated conversion information.
