PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose specifications suitable for an evaporator. SOLUTION: In the evaporator, fins 2 having bent parts 2b for joining flat surface parts 2a to adjacent flat surface parts 2a and formed in a corrugated shape are provided on the outer surface of a tube 1 allowing fluid to flow therein. The thickness dimension D of a heat exchange core part 3 is 50 mm or shorter, the height dimension (h) of fins 2 is 7 mm or shorter, the pitch dimension Fp of the fins 2 is 3.3 mm or shorter, the pitch dimension Lp of a louver 2c is 0.5 mm or longer and 0.9 mm or shorter, a distance between louver rows FLp is 0.86 mm or longer, and a louver angle La is 30°to 40°.
