PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compact a heat exchanger formed by connecting the tube end parts of a plurality of heat transfer tubes to each other by disposing the transfer tubes generally parallel with each other. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger 1 comprises the plurality of hair pin-shaped heat transfer tubes 11 disposed generally parallel with each other, a plurality of plate fins 14 having holes passing the heat transfer tubes 11 therethrough in the plate thickness direction and disposed at specified intervals in the plate thickness direction, a first plate-like member 15 installed on the tube end parts 11b of the heat transfer tubes 11 on the opposite side of the hair pin parts 11a thereof, and a second plate-like member 16 connected to the outer surface of the first plate-like member 15. The first plate-like member 15 formed in the same shape as the plate fins 14, and forms the plate fin disposed nearest the pipe end parts 11b. The second plate-like member 16 comprises a plurality of swelled parts 16a swelled to the outside, and forms a connection flow passage 17 connected to the outer surface of the first plate-like member 15 and connecting the tube end parts 11b of the heat transfer tubes 11 to each other.
