PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a heat source such as an electronic component generating heat therein, without using another energy. SOLUTION: This cooler is provided with at least one shape memory alloy member 18 having the first shape and the second shape, a heat-exchanger 28 provided in a heat-exchangeable position to the shape memory alloy member 18 to cool the shape memory alloy member, and a bias member 32 connected extendably to the shape memory alloy member 18, and for restoring the shape memory alloy member 18 to the first shape after the shape memory alloy member 18 is cooled.
