PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling apparatus which detachably holds a filter for a condenser with a simple construction. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a compressor, the condenser 14 and a fan 16 for the condenser arranged on a unit base 13. The apparatus has a fan case 3 forming an air passage leading to the condenser fan through the condenser, an upward wall 31 formed by bending of the unit base lying on an air inlet side of the condenser, a downward flange 36 formed on an upper edge of the fan case lying on the air inlet side of the condenser, the filter 24 provided on the air inlet side of the condenser, and gaps G1, G2 formed between the downward flange, the upward wall and the air inlet side of the condenser for detachable insertion of upper and lower ends of the filter. The filter is held along the air inlet side of the condenser with the upper and lower ends inserted in the respective gaps. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
