PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact wireless remote controller capable of setting functions at a low cost. SOLUTION: A manufacturer code, a location code, a model code, a year code, an address code and a function code are set, determined and transmitted on the basis of a result of detection by a switch input detecting means by a microcomputer comprising the switch input detecting means for detecting whether an arbitrary operation switch 4 is operated when the battery is mounted at the initial stage. The manufacturer code, the location mode, the model code, the year code, the address code and the function code can be selected by the operation switch 4 on the basis of the result of the detection of the switch input detecting means, and the function is determined and transmitted on the basis of a result of the selection.
