PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an information providing system and a fuel supplying method capable of maintaining stabilized operating condition of a fuel consumption equipment as a destination 20 of fuel supply even if the combustion characteristic such as composition of the fuel in a supplying part 1 is changed. SOLUTION: This information providing system 6 is provided with a data generating means 7 for generating a fuel characteristic data related to the combustion characteristic of the fuel on the basis of a result of an analysis of the combustion characteristic of the fuel in the supplying part 1 and a data providing means 9 for providing the combustion characteristic data generated by the data generating means 7 to the destination 20 of fuel supply.
