STRUCTURAL COMPOSITE MEMBER AND ITS JOINTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural composite member assembled with laminated lumbers and steel members as a structural members usable for columns or beams for realizing lumber laminated structural method suited for a relatively small-scale wooden building. SOLUTION: The structural composite member (beam 1) comprises a core member 11 made of steel plates or shape steel and a pair of laminated lumber 12 and 12 clamping the web of the core member 11 from both the sides. The core member 11 and the laminated lumber 12 are made perpendicular to the core member 11 and jointed to one united body through bolts 13 or drift pins 14 penetrated through both the members.
