PURPOSE: A container having a cooling function is provided to cool contents quickly as well as cooling contents for a long time using liquid materials of a water or gel state. CONSTITUTION: The container of various kinds for storing various liquid materials is selectively provided on upper and lower parts with several cooling units(2) with difference contact surface areas so as to be selectively detachable, the cooling units(2) each comprising a cooling container(5) having coolants(6) of various kinds such as water or cooling gel which are seal injected thereinto and are repetitively refrigerated and slowly defrost at an ambient temperature for cooling contents in direct contact with the contents stored in the container and a detaching unit integrally provided thereto so as to be detachable from the container.
