<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink sheet and an image receiving sheet which show a high image quality (a correction of image bleeding) and the correction of density deterioration or sensitivity undermining due to reverse transfer and an excellent shelf stability and an image conservation properties (light exposure properties), and a heat transfer imaging method by which an image of high quality and superb conservation properties can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive transfer recording material contains at least one kind selected from between a polymer with a repeating unit of a monomer represented by formula (1) and a polymer, containing a metallic ion, which comprises a divalent metallic compound.
