<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication controller for an on-vehicle apparatus for matching release of restrictions on rotating operation with an operation speed of an operation knob 11 during operation of the engine starting operation knob 11. <P>SOLUTION: In this communication controller for the on-vehicle apparatus including the on-vehicle apparatus 1 making communication with portable machines 13-15 with registered ID, a switch detection mechanism 9 detecting pressing operation of the operation knob 11 allowed to be pressed/turned, a switch operation restriction mechanism 10 restricting rotation of the operation knob 11, and a door opening/closing detection mechanism 7 detecting opening/ closing of a door, a signal is transmitted/received between the on-vehicle machine 1 and the respective portable machines 13-15, and when the portable machine succeeding in transmission/receipt of the signal is authenticated, restrictions by the switch operation restriction mechanism 10 is released. The on-vehicle machine 1 is provided with a transmission/ receipt part 3, a control part 2, an authentication part 4 authenticating the portable machines, and an ID storage part 5 updating and storing the latest authentication ID. When the door opening/closing detection mechanism 9 detects opening/closing of the door, the control part 2 searches for the portable machines by a total search method, detects pressurizing to the operation knob 11, and only when the latest ID is stored in the ID storage part 5, searches for the potable machines by an emergency search method based on a simple response signal including no ID. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
