<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing in which grease adhered to a surface of a ball is prevented from being scraped off by an edge part on a pocket face of a cage and from staying locally, and grease leak is also reduced. <P>SOLUTION: At least four projections P are formed on a face opposing to a ball 3 of each pocket 42 of the cage 4 retaining the ball 3 at a fixed pitch in the peripheral direction between inner and outer rings 1 and 2 to retain in the cage 4 in a condition in which each ball 3 is brought into contact with the projections P only. Consequently, the ball 3 is prevented from coming into contact with a section other than the projection P of the cage 4 when the bearing rotates, and remove scraping off of grease by the edge part on the pocket face is not generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
