PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety method for controlling an automatic door for a freezing refrigerator for holding airtightness for the freezing refrigerator and performing a measure for preventing a finger from being pinched into a gap of the door. SOLUTION: If a moving amount when the door 21 moving to a closing position to seal an opening 3 moves from the closing position due to a rise of in-refrigerator pressure in operating defrosting is the amount that the finger is not pinched (less than 24 mm), the door 21 is moved as it is up to the closing position. When the moving amount is amount that the finger is pinched (more than 24 mm), the door is moved after once stopped at a position 24 mm before the closing position.
