PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a rafter used for receiving a sheathing panel in conventional devices in a roof backing structure using a wooden conventional framework construction method as a base. SOLUTION: In the roof backing structure of a wooden building, purlins 2 are framed horizontally on vertical roof struts 1 disposed in upright at regular pitches, and the sheathing panels 4 composed of face materials for the structure having a size corresponding to the disposal pitches of the vertical roof struts are built by fitting male tongues (7) and female tongues (8) formed at the peripheries of the sheathing panels on the purlins and among the purlins. Sheathing receivers 3 with inclined planes corresponding to a roof pitch are built on the purlins, and the sheathing panels are supported through the sheathing receivers. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
