PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage interval variable carrying machine which can stably re-load and discharge a work to be carried by increasing the mounting density of carriage boxes on a straight part and suppressing the carrying speed on the straight part to be necessary minimum. SOLUTION: This carriage interval variable carrying machine comprises a straight part moving chain conveyor 60 to move a carrying truck mechanism 30 on the straight part of a guide rail 50, a curved part moving chain conveyor 70 to move the carrying truck mechanism 30 on a curved part of the guide rail 50, and a carriage interval variable mechanism 40 to move the carrying truck mechanism 30 to a boundary part of the straight part and the curved part with variable intervals of the carriage boxes 20. The interval of the carrying truck mechanism 30 is gradually increased by a spiral screw 41 of the carriage interval variable mechanism 40 when the carrying truck mechanism 30 is moved from the straight part to the curved part, and the interval of the carrying truck mechanism 30 is gradually reduced when the carrying truck mechanism 30 is moved from the curved part to the straight part.
