PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a plurality of paper sheets from being supplied in various kinds of paper sheets. SOLUTION: This device for preventing the plurality of paper sheets from being fed in a paper sheet feed part is constituted of an abutting part 2 for adjusting a position of the paper sheet on a feeder board 1 in the feed part, a press roller 4 for sandwiching the paper sheet 3 with respect to the feeder board under the condition where the paper sheet position is adjusted, so as to be pressed into a feeder board side, and a laser displacement measuring sensor 5 for measuring a distance between a reference measuring point 4a of the press roller and the laser displacement measuring sensor 5, the feed of the plurality of sheets is determined when a displacement differenceΔL of the distance between the reference measuring point 4a of the press roller and the laser displacement measuring sensor 5 is displaced by a determination set value or more, and the paper sheet supply to a working machine is stopped therein.
