PURPOSE: A method is provided to achieve improved contrast of plasma display panel without forming a color filter, while reducing manufacturing procedures and costs. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step of producing a glass by mixing a glass material and Nd2O3 at a predetermined weight ratio; a step of producing a powder by crushing the glass, and producing a dielectric paste by mixing the powder and a binder and solvent; a step of depositing the dielectric paste on an upper substrate(20) where a sustaining electrode(21) and a bus electrode(22) are formed; and a step of forming an upper plate dielectric(40) by baking the deposited dielectric paste. The glass material is produced by mixing P2O5 25 to 40 mol%, B2O3 0 to 30 mol% and ZnO 40 to 60 mol%. |
