METHOD OF MONITORING QUALITY OF MECHANICAL JOINT OF FINNED ENVELOPE WITH LOAD-BEARING TUBE IN BIMETALLIC TUBE

FIELD: manufacture of heat exchangers. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes heating of local section of tube on the outside by means of heating appliance [provided with damper ensuring stable delivery of jet of hot air. Temperature of finned tube is recorded by differential thermocouple mounted between adjacent fins of tube on side of air supply. Switching-on and switching-off of heating appliance, as well as obtaining information pertaining to change of finned tube temperature will be effected by means of controller setting total number of measurements. Information from controller is transmitted to computer where magnitudes of thermal contact resistance are obtained; these magnitudes are compared with permissible limits and rejection is performed. EFFECT: reduced duration of working stage; enhanced sensitivity and metrological capabilities. 7 cl, 1 dwg
