PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window unit capable of ventilating a room to an deep interior, permitting easy execution of installation and maintenance work without protrusion of an inside window to the room interior side and having a high degree of freedom of design and dimension of the inside wall. SOLUTION: The window unit 1 comprises an outside window 7 openably disposed on the outer side of an opening 5 in a wall face 3 and an inside window 9 openably disposed on the inner side of an outside window 7. The outside window 7 is one shoji 13 rotatable in a direction directing the bottom end 15 to the outer side. The inside window 9 is a horizontal louver shoji 21 having a plurality of louvers 19 freely turnable in the direction of directing the bottom ends 20 thereof to the inner side in interlock with each other.
