PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inorganic filler which, when compounded into a curable polysulfide resin, gives a curable polysulfide resin composition having a good balance among pot life, viscosity, thixotropic properties, surface tack, and curability. SOLUTION: The inorganic filler for the curable polysulfide resin composition is prepared by treating the surface of inorganic particles having a BET specific surface area of 3 m<SP>2</SP>/g or higher with a fatty acid ester.
