PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce waste disposal caused by defective molding, improve yield rate, and reduce manufacturing process and cost. SOLUTION: The steering wheel is fixed with a fastening bolt 16 by fitting the mounting hole 7 of the boss core metal 2 from above to a column shaft 6 provided in the body side. The boss core metal 2 is fabricated with light alloy and the bolt 16 is formed with a bolt tapered part 18 which is smaller diameter downward the undersurface side of the head 17, a bolt screw shaft 19 screwing the screw hole 15 is formed at the upper central position of the column shaft 6 below the bolt tapered part 18. The steering wheel for the vehicle is mounted by interposing a tapered washer 20 having a washer tapered hole 21 corresponding to the bolt tapered part 18 of the fastening bolt 16 between the column shaft 6 and the boss core metal 2.
