PURPOSE: A gateway for interworking communication systems under CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture) and non-CORBA environments is provided to interwork the communication systems under the CORBA and the non-CORBA environments by using the one gateway, thereby integrating the systems with the one interworking gateway. CONSTITUTION: A message distribution block(60) processes a message outputted from a non-CORBA environment, and processes a message outputted from a CORBA environment(10). A CORBA message control block(80) receives and transmits the message outputted from the CORBA environment(10). A request/response message control block(50) transmits the message transmitted from the message distribution block(60) to the CORBA message control block(80), or transmits a message transmitted from the CORBA message control block(80) to the message distribution block(60). An informing message control block(90) receives the message transmitted from the CORBA message control block(80), and transmits the message to the message distribution block(60). A relay knowledge storage(70) stores an interface library related to more than one protocol and a service library related to more than one application, and selectively supplies a necessary library to the blocks(60,80,50,90).
