摘要 FIELD: plasma technology. SUBSTANCE: invention specifically refers to methods and facilities meant for deposition of coats, predominantly of powdery materials, on backing by means of electric arc plasma generator, it can be employed in reinforcing of working surfaces of parts. Manner includes placement of machined part in front of plasma generator, supply of gas to plasma generator, connection of cathode and anode of plasma generator to leads of DC source, initiation of arc of indirect action between cathode and anode of plasma generator, feed of powder into formed plasma jet and modulation of current of indirect action arc in process of sputtering. Preliminary thermal activation of part is executed by modulated arc of direct action initiated between cathode of plasma generator and part, average current being 15-20 A, average voltage 130-160 V, modulation frequency of discharge current 900- 1600 Hz, pulse length 3-5 mcs. Following flashing of deposited coat is carried out by modulated arc of direct action between anode of plasma generator and part with average current 8-15 A, average voltage 110-150 V, modulation frequency of discharge current 300-400 Hz, pulse length 14-16 mcs.
