摘要 FIELD: medicine, orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with manufacturing prostheses. Medicinal prosthesis is indicated to be applied as implant of hip and knee joints inside patient's body and is manufactured out of polyethylene of ultra-high molecular weight, which, in fact, has no detected free radicals. Polyethylene suggested is represented by irradiation-treated cross- sectionally sutured one at molecular weight being, at least, 500000, and about 2-3 peaks of fusion. Obtained prostheses demonstrate decreased formation of particles out of prosthesis during its usage, and, in fact, are resistant to oxidation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 33 cl, 11 dwg, 21 tbl
