FIELD: medicine, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes the combined preparation "XYMEZOLONE" for treatment of patients with osteoarthrosis containing the following components per each dosing unit, mg: xymedone, 20-30; prednizolon, 2.0-3.0 as active components; starch, 4- 5; talc, 0.1-0.2 as excipients. Method for treatment of patients with osteoarthrosis involves administration of curative dose of xymezolone orally, 4-6 times per a 24 h for 4-5 days and then by 1-2 times per 24 h, treatment course is 2-3 weeks and repeated 1-3 courses with interval for 20-30 days between courses. The novel combined preparation expands assortment of curative drugs, allows reducing frequency of complications rise and adverse effects in retention of high curative effectiveness.
