<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium manganese composite oxide powder which is excellent in a preservation property, with little gas generation accompanying to the charge and discharge of electricity, and excellent in cyclic charge and discharge characteristics, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The constitution of the lithium manganese composite oxide powder is expressed by general formula: Li<SB>1+a</SB>M<SB>b</SB>Mn<SB>2-a-b</SB>X<SB>c</SB>B<SB>d</SB>S<SB>e</SB>O<SB>4+f</SB>. (wherein M is aluminum and/or magnesium; X is a halogen element selected from among fluorine, chlorine, bromine, and iodine; B is boron; S is sulfur; and 0<a≤0.2, 0<b≤0.2, 0≤c≤0.05, 0<d≤0.02, 0<e≤0.1, 0≤f<0.5). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
