<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger which surely prevents the seizure of a rotating shaft by controlling the lubrication of the shaft of a compressor in the turbocharger having an electric motor rotating and driving the compressor. <P>SOLUTION: The turbocharger 11 is provided with the motor 11b for rotating and driving the compressor 11a and lubrication liquid supplying means 25, 26, 27 for supplying the liquid to the shaft of the compressor 11a even when an internal combustion engine 1 is not operated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
