PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold articles having various kinds of shapes and sizes without enlarging the whole article storage device. SOLUTION: This article storage device 1 for a vehicle has a base member 4 juxtaposed with a pair of vertical walls 41, 41 in an upper face side, and a holding tool 5 formed with a pair of holding parts 71, 71 extended to an upper side of the vertical walls 41, 41 with a space each other from a bottom part 6 attached slidably between the vertical walls 41, 41. The base member 4 holds thereby the article arranged between the walls 41, 41 by the both walls 41, 41, and the holding tool 5 slide-movable between the vertical walls 41, 41 holds the article arranged in the bottom part 6 by the both holding parts 71, 71.
