PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability of a flexible tube for feeding air connected to weft inserting auxiliary nozzles in a weft inserting apparatus. SOLUTION: The weft inserting apparatus comprises the weft inserting auxiliary nozzles 12-15 connected through the flexible tube 28 and a solenoid opening and closing valve 19 to an air tank 17. A valve housing 25 composing a valve part 24 of the solenoid opening and closing valve 19 serves also as a distributor. The front surface of the valve housing 25 is provided with distribution ports 253-256. The orienting directions L1 and L2 of the distributing ports 253 and 254 face to the upper and right side of the loom.
