PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a beverage holder for a beverage container wherein a storage part is provided to insert the beverage container, wherein a diameter compensating element is provided to be guided into the storage part by a guide part and to be guided movably from the storage part to an outside, and wherein a spring element is provided to load the diameter compensating element toward an inside of the storage part, so as to use the whole storage part to store an article when the holder is not used to insert the beverage container. SOLUTION: Releasable lock devices 24, 26 are provided in the holder 10, and the releasable lock devices 24, 26 hold a diameter compensating flap 14 in a position shifted from the storage part 12 against force of the spring element 22.
