The method involves computing the parameter corresponding to the field change in the working volume per Amp of current in the additional coil system (D) with z = 0 by taking into account the magnetic fields generated by currents induced in the rest of the magnet arrangement (M,P1), where z is the distance along the z-axis (z). An independent claim are also included for a magnet arrangement.
