An activating device (EA) alters a mobile telephone from a switched-off state into a standby state to accept input of a user's several authentifying features entered via authentifying devices like a keypad (TAS), a control device (ST), a display device (DSP) and an intermediate memory (ZWS), in order to trigger an operating state if a correct set of authentifying features has been recognized. An Independent claim is also included for a method for operating a portable communications device/mobile telephone. |
