A first connection set-up message (S-Setup) passes to a connection destination (PBXB) via a transit network (BN) for setting up a connection (SNV) to cover a network. Sending the S-Setup via an input point (IWUA) in the BN causes a BN second connection set-up message (B-Setup) for setting up a BN connection (BNV) to be transmitted via the BN and parallel to the S-Setup. An Independent claim is also included for a network transition device for setting up a connection to cover a network.
