FIELD: power engineering, chemical and oil and gas producing industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed balanced disk valve has housing with seat, spindle, and spindle seal. Spindle is made integral with relief device. The latter is mechanically coupler with flat rotary regulating member arranged in inlet space of housing. Area of cross-section of spindle in zone of seal mounting taking up inlet pressure is either larger than of equal to area of cross-section of regulating member. Grooves corresponding to each other are made in center of working surfaces of regulating member and valve seat. Grooves form chamber in extreme lower position of regulating member. Said chamber communicates with valve pressure space. Regulating member is pressed to valve seat by means of limiter. EFFECT: provision of reliable operation of valve. 2 cl, 3 dwg
