摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable dispersion which contains a more reduced amount of a cationic polymer comparing with that in the known prior art.

SOLUTION: The stable water-based dispersion contains particles of silicon dioxide/mixed oxides obtained by flame hydrolysis which contains aluminum oxide or titanium dioxide as the mixed oxide component and has a BET surface area of 5-600 m2/g and also has a negative ζ potential, as well as a cationic polymer which is dissolved in an amount of less than 100,000 g/mole, and is characterized in that this dispersion has a positive ζ potential.
